Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 June 2026

Short version: Swipik collects nothing. The app runs entirely on your Mac — no servers, no analytics, no tracking, and no account that ever leaves your device. Your photos never go anywhere.

What we collect

No personal data is collected, transmitted, or shared. Swipik makes no network connections of any kind (enforced technically by a Content Security Policy of connect-src 'self'). There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no telemetry, and no crash reporting to us.

Your photos

Swipik only accesses the folder you choose in the app, and only to sort it. Sorting moves your image files into keep / later / trash subfolders inside that same folder — files are never deleted by the app, and never copied off your device. Previews are rendered locally and never uploaded.

Your account

If you create a local account, your username and a securely hashed password (PBKDF2-SHA512) are stored only on your Mac in the app's local database. There is no online sign-up and no cloud account. We never see this information.

Data sharing

None. Because nothing is collected, there is nothing to share, sell, or disclose — to anyone, ever.

Children

Swipik is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. It collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date above will change. Since the app is local-only, material changes are unlikely.
